판다양과 가슴도치
I just wanna say it's a stupid drama which made me so addicted. Crap. 5 fingers was removed from PPS halfway through watching it (padan my muka for watching only 8 episodes over the 3 weeks, but damn, why put it on and take it down mid way). Then I started this, "Miss panda and hedgehog" because there is Lee Dong Hae. LOL. It's a cute drama, nothing too amazing, but it's nice, after all those hatred and bad guys in 5 fingers. It's not fantastic but I was so addicted omg. I saved the last episode for days because I didn't want it to end so I wouldn't have to search for a new addiction, and man, the last few episodes were good. Cried like nobody's business. Haha, I think I shed more tears than everyone in the story did in that episode. Don't watch it unless you have lots of time to spare. 5 fingers is nicer, but of course it kills your joy and cells with all that evil people and hatred and seeing how kind people gets bullied and have to turn evil to survive. Such is life, but it's not very encouraging... hahahaa.

It's been a long time since I watched my last drama. OK, long time means 2 months? Usually I watch one after another, like addiction, but without meaning, just for the fun of it. So since the last drama I decided to stop. I can watch movie or talk shows or sitcoms, which are short and finish-able within a night. For the period of time I had a lot of free time after work, and got addicted to books. I finished some books and am very glad to have cleared the shelf of borrowed books a little.
Anyways. I get bored. Just like how I got bored of too many dramas, book after book bores me too, though they can be addictive too. So last weekend I started drama. LOL because babies were not home so I was life-less again hence drama.

INTERESTING! Ok, it's drama withdrawal withdrawal effect, cried and laughed and got so upset over it. And tonight I've watched 3 episodes, and it's midnight, which I know I will regret tomorrow morning, but heck it's so addictive. Ok the end. Gotta sleep. 盲目追了又追电视剧，如今想歇一歇，有空的时候看看什么好电影，两个小时内完成，没有压力，也不需要熬夜……=P
今天：台北飘雪
是因为陈伯霖才看的……但还不错。
简单的故事，简单的人物，小小爱情故事，古镇的风景，单纯的音乐。＝）
The Secret of Kells
An English animation.
It was a movie worth watching. Very dramatic to attract young children, but perhaps too deep in meaning and too tragic for young children to grasp.
I didn't understand what it was trying to say, had to google it. But oh well, I always don't get the meaning in movies like these anyways. =P But it was nice and interesting.
I particularly enjoyed how it was drawn, illustrated, or in this movie "illuminated". The lines, colors, and so much details. Actually the storyline was rather simple. Having said that, it was not draggy at all as the scenes practically flowed from one to another, feeding viewers rich visual stimulation which amazes them with the details and colors.

The characters were drawn in simplicity, yet distinct from one another, and yet blends together harmoniously. Squared people, hunching backs, small people, the characters were in simple shapes (literally) yet they convey so much in so little lines. =)
You have so got to watch it for yourself. Not so much for the storyline, but 120% for the visual "effects".

This is my favourite scene. But almost all forest scenes are amazing...

女主角努力成功、独立与自信带来保守思想社会的偏见和歧视。她是开心的，若是没有社会施与的无形压力。要是她不在意就有多好，但这是collectivist 社会。有一幕，她参加男友的庆功宴，被男友的秘书问到工作会不会累。她说：“在这个社会找自己的位置，大家都很累。” 却换来那秘书的一句：“所以才要找个可以办事的男朋友。”
男主角努力配合，害怕前进，因为他害怕失去。他努力做个好人，人人都喜欢他，可是好人往往吃亏。因着“拥有就是失去的开始”， 若没有拥有就不会失去。因为不想开始失去，默默地付出带来默默的幸福，也带来许多暗地里折磨自己的时候。
我看到小小的我；想要不靠任何人地努力和独立，坚信自己的原则却因别人的眼光而感到自卑与不确定。我看到小小的我；努力想要当个好人，却换来许多挣扎和犹疑。
也许我没有方头狮那么有影响力，不过我了解他的挣扎，喜欢自己又想融入大家的那一份挣扎。
在戏里，男主角形容女主角为方头狮。他说女主角就像方头狮：方头狮的颈圈是方的，其他狮子都是圆的。而正是“与众不同”的这件事，常常让它卡住，卡在自己的原则里、卡在‘该不该妥协’的挣扎里、卡在"会不会全世界都对了，只有我的坚持是错了"的迷思里……
在这一方面我有像方头狮。若是没看到这一幕，我想我也慢慢地把头浸入水里想变成与大家一样的圆头狮子了吧？

Taiwanese Drama.
2 Korean actors (SuperJunior 시원 & 동해), one girl whom I liked from a very nice movie (听说).
The girl is super not pretty in the drama, the Siwon also not handsome. I like Donghae but his attitude like shit.
I like the supporting actress and supporting actor more. Haha, the girl's best friend and the guy's personal assistant was hilarious! He and his phone always cracks me up. (OK can't find photo)
But it's a nice drama, very quirky and funny, and many laugh out loud moments it's so interesting! It's based on an anime, so there are some 'impossible' moments, but one doesn't expect straight logical plot from an anime ok.
I strongly recommend to people who want some time off to relax and just laugh. But you'll have to be able to understand Mandarin as some of the jokes are quite language-based. =)

TV2
It's been, years? since I switched into TV2. Used to watch it a lot during my kiddo days when they played hit TVB dramas. Then TV3 grew. NTV7. Then 8TV.
So today after work I switched onto 8tv. While waiting for the endless advertisements to pass, I turned the channel and dunno why turned to TV2, and expecting to see boring stuff, it was a nice movie one. =)
What a pleasant surprise on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Summer Wars
Initially it was about some techno stuff, internet online stuff. Games. Boys stuff. Fighting. Taking over the world. Sci-fi kinda thing. Which didn't make me yawn.
Anyways, there are lots of imagination going around, possibilities for us humans, and many lessons to learn (oh well, except the last part on the kissing and passing out). I liked the part which it made family and human relationships so significant, which many of us has chose to pass. I guess you have to watch it and learn your own lesson from there. There are many little stories and culture that was nice. Except for some scenes which were dragged maybe 1-2 seconds too long, overall it was a decent movie with great values to convey. =)

那些年，我们一起追的女孩
The younger people say it's nice, the older people thinks it's just average.
I watched. And thinks it's lame and draggy, until the ending.
A young girl said the ending is not nice, but I think it's great, and realistic. The ending that sums it all up nicely was nice and touching.
But the movie still passes as average overall.
I guess I'm old. Grr.
三分钟先生
Just finished watching the Hong Kong Movie 三分钟先生 (Mr 3 minutes?). It's a funny, entertaining yet meaningful movie. A little bit like Adam Sandler's movies genre. Very interesting. =)
听说
just finished watching the taiwanese movie '听说' on PPS. lately i've been watching movies cuz dramas are draggy and so predictive. well, movies are predictive too, but nyeh, they're done in less than 2 hours.
so. the guy is cute the girl is cute. and the storyline makes good sense. =) so nice not because of the pretty actors but because of the life and morale in the movie. go watch ok.
the guy is my new love ok. =P saw him in a pathetic movie but he was cute then. LOL so now he's even cuter. *wink*
My So-called love
Yeah, just spent the last 2 hours watching the Taiwanese movie "my so called love", totally worthless to watch ok. I thought the time is already 11+ but it's barely 10pm yet. I watched it because of the 2 main actors, LOL which I think were cute, and saw some promos on talk shows, but nyeh, it's sad and lost.
The story can actually be cut short into 30minutes or less. Of course, it's based on a real story and the background of the main character is sad and stuff, but as a movie it sucked. There was no connection, no meaning, no explanation, no understanding. And all the actors couldn't really portray what they're supposed to be in the movie. So it was a little too difficult to figure out what's the movie about without reading lotsa lotsa write ups on the movie.
So yeah.
City Hunter END!!
OMG it's like so "AT LAST!!"
Can't say I love the ending, can't say it's bad too, somehow too fast couldn't satisfy my hunger for more good looking-ness. LOL Plus the stupid internet connection which stopped for 2 seconds after every 1 second during climax was shit ok.
But it's a great drama. Good plot good actors, just a little over on the blood thingy. But go watch ok you.
Loving Lee Min Ho, his looks plus his acting LOL. Still love Jokwon. =)
Next challenge: Lie to Me.

It's a light movie to watch, and if you're an Adam Sandler fan you would know it's gotta be somewhat educational, which it is. But unlike most of his films, the message of the movie comes in subtly, nice and impactful.

It's a French movie (I think) with cute kids. But it's more of a comedy with a message behind. It is about a boy who thinks he's going to have a little brother and how he copes with it. Explains why some kids do certain things that we don't understand, for they too, think too much like adults.

Rating: If you love kids and enjoying figuring them out, it's 4/5
抱抱俏佳人 (Miriam Yeung)
It's a Cantonese movie, love comedy. Light and nice. =)

Did I mention I started watching the Korean Drama "City Hunter"? Yeah, it's that great that I kept watching and kept watching, it's that addictive!
The whole drama is 20episodes, but it's aired till the 14th as of now, airing 2 episodes per week on SBS Korea. Anyways.
I didn't start watching by reading it's storyline, I'm not a fan of war, politics and stuff. I gave it a try due to the lead actor Lee MinHo, but the story line proves itself to be greater than just a beautiful actor.
It's a story about politics, revenge, love, hate, greed, family, and all the other things that you can name. The storyline is not the usual love, or police, or family stuff, but a combination of all if not more. It's interestingly complicated, but easy to understand for those who don't like too much complication and hatred in dramas. It's pretty much of life, realistic, but still dramatic. =)
Rating? Though the director somehow likes blood on everyone's face whenever someone is injured, and the blood on the wounds are pretty amateur-ish, and well, let's say some detail are not that amazingly taken care of, but overall the drama is absolutely awesome. MUST WATCH.

Finished the ep11 of Love You (Taiwanese Drama). Gosh, once a week kills! Hate those interesting previews! I have to wait for a week more! GRRR! By that time I won't remember the existence of the drama anymore leh................................ what's more for the story line. GRRRR =(
