Kath only grabbed a bottle of water while Lydia & I had 2 kinds of bread each.
Kath: How much is it?
Me: It's ok, I'll treat you, it's valentines day. Will you be full with the bottle of water?
Kath: I'm not hungry.
Me: 有情饮水饱？(in cantonese: yau cheng yam shui bao) [explained later]
*burst into laughter*
Me: (to Lydia) there's this saying in Chinese that says "with love, water also can make you full".
After a while,
Kath: K-C, sorry you're not my cup of tea.
Me: I'm not your cup of tea, just your bottle of water.v
*sweat*
