Gone?!

Last night I babysat a kiddo in his house. I left after putting the blanket over him as he slowly dozed off. 

This morning when I went to pick him up for school he didn't look very happy, his mum explained that it was because he couldn't find me when he woke up in the middle of the night. 

After I tucked myself in the seat, I told him as I drove off, "Hey, did you look for me last night?"

Very disappointedly, he said, "Yeah.."

"I had to go home because I didn't bring my pillows to your house," I explained. 

"Oh!" it was an A-HA moment for him. 

And guess what, he felt all better after that. 

Oh kids... *wink*
