Them

There was one kid. Who was really hard to please.
Always makes a big fuss when separating with parent, parent always makes a big fuss when separating with child (a.k.a. parent separation anxiety. Yup, parents can contract this disease too). Cry when near meal times. Cry and whine during meal times. Complain about the wheeniest things. Needs absolute silence during nap time (hello?) Use only personal utensils, this and that.

And all that adds up to a lot, to which we spend time with the kids for more than 9 hours a day, we help them eat pee poop sleep shower read write clean up dance sing talk behave play hydrated ........................... you name it. If every single thing needs to be micromanaged by the mom because the kid is unhappy about how the thing is done here in our school which serves of course, not only him, it's a pain in the neck.

So the kid was the hardest to please kid ever. Cry when eating. If don't finish food, mum upset. If finish food, child and teacher upset. Of course, nothing pleases both the parent and child. Plus the kid doesn't speak clearly. He's big enough to speak full sentences, and he does. But he eats up all his "s" and "q" and "c" etc sounds, which makes his speech extremely hard to comprehend.

And oh, all this fuss for less than 2 weeks. Then the mother decided to try another school. Then the kid loved it there. Don't need a genius to figure this out, must be because he doesn't need to take a single meal there, nor a nap or a shower. Just go for class and go home. I guess the mother and kid were happy. No fuss with school, so everyday can go to school.

I'm happy for the kid. Happy for myself that he's gone. But I miss him. He can be such a pain in the you know where, but I was sure he enjoyed the classes we had here. The games, the sharing, the music and company.
