The age

It's no longer as casual to ask, "So you're still working with [company name]?"
when you're near retiring age, and your friends are too.

Though the retirement age is 55, it's not unusual to see people still working when they've surpassed that age, or they've started watching the clouds float by even before they're that age.

Retirement can be anticipated or dreaded, or both at the same time.
Oh well. Lucky me I took the adult development course, or else I'll be missing out on all these important life events people around me are going through.
