You know you have worked at Cedar Point when...

(Taken from the group: "

You know you have worked at Cedar Point when..." from facebook)

Let's highlight the things I've done. =)

- You have told a guest "Have a good night" at 9 in the morning.

- You know what an "epic fail" is, and have expirenced at least 3 of them during the summer.

- You seriously hope your ride goes down for rain or mechanical, just so that you don't have to deal with guests.

- You had to tell a child and their parent (s) that he wasn't tall enough to ride the ride. The child begins to cry and the parent (s) begin to yell at you for not letting him on the ride. You think "What part of you must be this tall to ride don't you understand?

- You see people who bend down next to the height stick and ask if their tall enough: You seriously want to bomp them over the head with the height stick.

- You see riders who take 5-10 minutes deciding on a horse on the carousel / cedar downs. Really?... Seriously?... Does it matter in 20 years whether you get a brown, white, or tan horse? (this is for Alex)

- You become a little kid at - heart and have at least one picture of Snoopy and you (and / or the peanuts gang).

- You wear out at least two pairs of shoes while working here.

- Yo
u wear two different colored shoes, just because your that tired.

- You seriously consiered getting a bumper sticker that says: "WARNING: I may not stop for Cedar Point foot traffic."

- You always park your car in the same area, so that you can find it later in the day...

- There are over 2,000 trash cans in the park. Yet, you realize that 75% of the guest at CP do not know what a trash can is.

- You realize that sleep is over-rated.

- Having pop - tarts and a can of moutain dew for breakfast is completely normal.

- You have ever clocked out over 14 hours after clocking in.

- You know what an OC is, and it's not uncommon to have 3 of them in one week.

- You use your off day from CP to go to another amusement park.

-You know the Cedar Point map like it's the back of your hand.

- Your way of giving directions gradually deteriorates until all you say is, "You know what, this entire part of the park is designed in a circle... just keep going and you'll find it eventually."

- You realize that your Cedar Point ID is your life... You lose it, your screwed.

- You know what a single rider is, or at least have seen someone wearing a single rider t-shirt.

- Someone asks you for direction. You give them very simple ways to get to point X. They then walk the complete opposite way. You then think.... ummm.... ok...

- You hate Seagulls, muffleheads, and mayflies with a passion...

- You can easily recite your employee number, esp. those in foods, merchandise, and games.

- At the end of the summer, you have a really nice farmer's tan.

- You wake up singing songs you hear all the time at work.

- You have a playlist on your iPod that is just of the songs that you hear at Cedar Point...

- You start to make up songs / one - liners to call out so people will come play your game.

- You wait until Tuesday to buy any Cedar Point merchandise, just to get a discount.

- You have used your debit card for something less than a dollar.

- You've been asked really dumb questions, such as "Where is the Millenium Falcon?" When in uniform, "Do you work here?" "What ocean is that?" "What time is the 10:00 hot summer lights show?" While waiting in line for a ride, "Are you in line for this ride?"

- Your crew is your summer family.

- You meet more internationals in 3 months than in your entire life.

- You have a collection of "Buy one, get one free" pepsi caps.

- There is a morning parking ban, only to be lifted 2 hours later.

- You were tired of cafe food since mid - June..

- You see your TL more than your roommate.

- You love Wal-Mart trips.

- Every other Friday is automatically a good day, just because it's payday.

- In December, you realize that you miss Cedar Point, and all the crazyness.

*** You know you have worked at Cedar Point when you read this and you are laughing because you know it's true... ***

Add in:
You can't stop using your whole hand to point when you're outside the park.

you're out in public and you want to pick up trash on the street/sidewalk cause you do it at work.
